How to add general terms and conditions of sale to your pages

In this article, you will learn how to add general terms and conditions of sale to your pages.

You will need:
  • a systeme.io account
  • a page on which you want to add the general terms and conditions of sale

There are two distinct methods to add these terms to your pages:

Method 1: on your order forms

To modify the terms and conditions text on your order forms:

  1. Navigate to "Settings" by clicking on your profile picture (number 1 in the image).
  2. On the settings page, select "Payment page settings" (number 2 in the image).

  1. Click "Save" to save the changes made to the text of your general terms and conditions of sale (number 3 in the image).

To include these terms in your order forms:
  1. Open the editor for your order form (number 4 in the image).

  1. Click on "Add Popup" to add a popup (number 5 of the image).

  1. Click on "Change popup settings" (number 6 in the image) and select the popup that contains the terms and conditions as you want (number 7 in the image).
  2. Finally, click on "Save" (number 8 in the image).

Note: Any changes you make to the text from the "Payment Page Settings" will automatically be applied to the "Popup" on your payment page.

Method 2: on your other pages

  1. Begin by adding an information page containing your terms and conditions. Click on "Add step" (number 9 in the image) and select "Info page" as the page type (number 10 in the image).

  1. Add a text containing your general conditions of sale on this page (number 11 in the image).

  1. Copy the URL of your information page (number 12 in the image).

  1. In the editor of your sales page, add a text element, select it, and click the link symbol button to make the text clickable (number 13 in the image).

  1. Insert the URL of your information page (number 14 in the image), then save by clicking on the floppy disk icon (number 15 in the image).
  2. Don't forget to save the changes you have made (number 16 in the image).
