In this article, you will learn how to create your own membership site using

You will need:

    • a account

Here's how it works!

In the menu, go to "Products/Sales" and then click on "Courses" (number 1 in the image).
Then click on the "Add a new course" button to be able to create a new course (number 2 in the image).

Fill in the fields of your course parameters as shown in the following image:

Click on "Save" at the top of the same page to save the settings you have made.
Note: You can change this information after you have created your course by following the procedure described in the article How to modify the information of a course.

Create a module on a course:

Click on the "Add module" button (number 3 in the image).
Insert a name to the module on the pop-up that appears, then click on "Save" (number 4 in the image).

Remember to click on "Save" when you're done!

Create a lecture on a module:

Click on the "Add lecture" button (number 5 in the image).

Insert the following information on the pop-up that appears:
  • The name of the chapter
  • A delay after the previous lecture
  • Choose a page type, among the two templates
Click on "Save" to complete the new lecture (number 6 in the image).

IMPORTANT: The delay after the previous lecture allows you to define how the student will be able to access the modules or lectures when the type of access is in drip content.
Here is the difference between the two types of access:
Full access: If you want the student to have access to the entire course upon the first payment, all you have to do is insert the number  "0" in the "Delay after previous lecture field.
Drip content: The student will have access to your course gradually according to the time you have configured for the lectures/modules of your course.
To learn more about the difference between the two types of access, I recommend that you read the article on this subject by clicking here.

Note: The number of days set on the "delay after the previous lecture" refers to the previous lecture and not to the very first lecture of the course, you can choose the delay you want, however you have to take into account that this delay is considered in "days", so if you put 7, it means that the lecture will be unlocked 7 days after the previous one.
