How to set up an inactive page on a deactivated sales funnel
In this article, you will learn how to set up an inactive page on a deactivated sales funnel.
You will need:
- a systeme.io account
- a deactivated sales funnel (How to deactivate a funnel)
- an opt-in page from an active funnel
It is recommended to set up an inactive page on a deactivated sales funnel if you have been sharing your sales funnel on social media. This page helps visitors understand that although the funnel is no longer available, they can still sign up to receive future offers.
In this situation, we recommend adding a button to redirect visitors to an active page with an opt-in form, to avoid losing potential prospects. To do this, simply follow the steps described below:
First, go into the deactivated sales funnel, then click on Inactive page so you can customize it (1).
Within the inactive page editor, you can create a message inviting visitors to subscribe to your newsletter or receive updates.
For this, you can add text, images, and a button with a redirect link that takes them to your opt-in page.
Once you’ve added the desired elements to the page, configure the button to open a URL (2).
Then, paste the URL of your active opt-in page (3).
Now, once someone visits your deactivated sales funnel, this inactive page will be displayed (for any step within your sales funnel).
Note: If a funnel is deactivated, it will not capture new leads, even when a form is added and the button is set to 'Submit form'.
