How to update your page's metadata to debug SEO content on social networks

On this page, we will see how to update the metadata of your page when it is shared and displays the wrong SEO settings (image, title, or description) on social networks.

If you have shared the link to your page on social networks and the image, title, or description displayed does not correspond to the SEO configurations that you have set up on systeme.io, you must request a debug from the social network on which the problem appeared.

The advantage of using debug links is that it allows you to update and refresh the SEO part of a page.

Let's take the example of the page "https://systeme.io/" and the Facebook debug link below:

Insert the link of your page on the "Enter a URL to see the information that is used when it is shared on Facebook" field, then click on the "Debug" button, in order to preview the display of your page when it is shared on Facebook.

You will get the results as shown below:
If the information that is displayed is not the one configured on the SEO settings section of your page in your systeme.io account, just click on the "Scrape again" button to fix it.

Each social network has its own debug link, for example, you will find the LinkedIn debug link below:

To find the debug link for a particular social network, you just have to search on the web or contact the support of the concerned social network, so that they can provide it to you.

Note: When you experience this kind of problem, be aware that it can also be related to the search engines used, so we recommend that you always update it to the latest version.
