To connect your account to your GoCardless account, click on your profile picture and then "Settings" (number 1 in the image). Next, in the menu on the left side of your page, click "Payment Gateways" (number 2 in the image). 

On the payment gateway options page, click on  "Connect" for the GoCardless option (number 3 in the image). 

You will be redirected to a page that allows you to log in to your GoCardless account or to create one if you do not already have an account.

If you don't already have an account, first add your personal information and create a password.

After filling in the forms, activate the GoCardless payment method in your sales funnel settings by clicking the Gocardless checkbox.

Note: Unless the email field is part of the order form, it will not be possible to process the payment through the payment gateway.

What happens when GoCardless payment fails?

Our system will make three attempts to collect the payment. The time between each attempt depends on the customer's bank. However, you can reduce the number of direct debits for each currency and change the direct debit delay in your GoCardless account settings, and our system will then take care of them according to your setup.
