How to add a checkbox to your page

In this article, you will learn how to add a checkbox.

To get started, you will need:

• A systeme.io account
• The funnel step where you want to add the checkbox

Adding a checkbox

In the page editor, drag the Checkbox element from the panel on the left and drop it onto your page.

Once you have added the element, click the text and start typing to modify it.

In the element settings, you can also:

• Change the message displayed if the box is not checked (1).
• Choose whether the checkbox is mandatory or optional on your form (2).
• Add an automation rule that triggers when the box is checked (3).

When adding an automation rule to the checkbox, you can pick from the list of actions below.

Notes:

1. If a checkbox is marked mandatory and the button action is set to Submit form, users cannot proceed to the next step without checking the box.
2. You can only add checkbox automation rules to the following page types:

• Opt-in page

• Thank-you page

• Inline Form

• Popup form

• Sales page
