How to send customers a link to update their credit cards
This guide will walk you through how to send customers a link to update their credit cards.
To get started, you will need the following:
- A systeme.io account
- At least one sale made
For payments made with Stripe:
Go to the Sales tab and click on Transactions (1).
Enter the customer's email address into the search field and click Filter (2). Next, click on the email address that appears in the results (3).
On the customer's page, scroll down to, scroll down to the Subscriptions section on the same page. Here, click on the three dots, followed by Change credit card details (4).
On the payment update page that opens, copy the URL from the address bar (5) and send it to the customer.
For payments made with PayPal:
Customers paying via PayPal cannot update their payment method for an existing subscription. They must cancel their current plan and start a new subscription using their new payment information.
