How to use the delay countdown

This guide shows you how to set up a countdown timer with a fixed delay (a timer that counts down a specific amount of time per visitor).

What you will need:

• A systeme.io account
• A page to edit

Adding the countdown element

In the editor, drag and drop the Countdown element (1) from the left sidebar onto your page.

Configuring the timer

Click the countdown element to open its settings (2). From the Countdown type dropdown menu, select Delay.

Set the duration (days, hours, minutes, and seconds) for the countdown.

Action when the countdown expires

You can choose what happens when the timer runs out:

1. Redirect to another page: Send visitors to a different URL (e.g., a Sales Closed page).
2. Do nothing: The timer simply stops at 00:00:00.

Example:

If you set the duration to 10 days, 10 hours, 10 minutes, and 30 seconds, the timer will look like this as soon as the page loads.
