How to add a downloadable file

In this article, you will learn how to add a downloadable file to a page.

To get started, you will need the following:

• A systeme.io account
• A page to edit

Adding text

In the page editor, drag the Text element (1) from the left panel and drop it onto your page.

Creating a file download link

Select the text where you want to add a downloadable file, then click the link icon (2).

In the popup window, click the arrow icon next to the link field (3) to upload your file.

The file manager will open. Drag and drop your file into the box, or click to upload it from your device (4).

Alternatively, select a file already stored in your systeme.io account (5).

Once the file uploads, select it and click Insert (6).

After inserting the file, click the Confirm button to save the file (7).

Testing the file download

To check if the file downloads properly, first click Save (8) at the top right, then click the Preview icon (9).

On the preview page, click the text link (10) to verify that your file downloads correctly.
