How to create a pipeline

A CRM pipeline is an essential tool for managing sales opportunities and tracking the progress of prospects through different stages of the sales process.

How to create and manage a CRM pipeline:

To create a pipeline on systeme.io, go to the CRM section of your account's menu and click on the Pipelines (1). Click Create (2).

Give your pipeline a name, add steps, then click Save (3) to finish creating your pipeline.

It should be noted that by default, when a new sales pipeline is created, it is automatically configured with six steps, which you can easily modify according to your needs. The default steps are as follows:

  1. New leads: adding new contacts or leads that have just been identified.
  2. Initial contact made: a first contact has been made with the prospect.
  3. Proposal sent: an offer or proposal has been sent to the prospect.
  4. Negotiation: discussions and negotiations on the terms of the sale.
  5. Deal won: the sale has been successfully finalized.
  6. Deal lost: the sale was not finalized, and the prospect has been lost.

These steps can be modified or rearranged to fit your specific business needs.

How to add a contact to your pipeline?

You can add a contact to a systeme.io pipeline in two different ways:

1. Manually: add contacts (existing or new) to any step of the pipeline by navigating to the desired step, then clicking on Add a Contact.

This allows you to manually add prospects to specific stages.

Note: You can add an existing contact from your list or add a new one by manually entering their information.

After choosing the way to add your contact, click Next (4).

Choose a contact from your list and click Save (5).

2. Automatically: by using an automation rule to add prospects to a specific step or move them from one step to another, making the process smoother and faster.

This simplifies opportunity management by avoiding repetitive manual interventions and ensuring prospects move correctly through the pipeline.

How to add a note to a contact?

You can also add notes to the profile of your pipeline contacts, which can help you record important information for each contact in the pipeline. This includes essential details, ideas, or summaries of calls, centralizing all information in one place for optimal organization.

To do this, click on the relevant contact and then on the Notes icon.

After that, you just need to write a note and save it by clicking the Save (6). You can also see the previous notes that were added to this contact.

Additionally, you can modify, pin, or delete existing notes using the icons that can be found next to your previous notes.

You can also drag and drop contacts between different stages smoothly and easily.

The CRM pipeline feature offers an effective and organized way to manage business opportunities, integrating tools that simplify processes and optimize the performance of sales teams.
