What you will need:
- a systeme.io account
- a domain name purchased from Infomaniak
Important: Please follow the first step of this article before completing this one.
After adding the root domain to systeme.io, you need to check the DNS settings in your Infomaniak account.
Note 1: Each domain added to systeme.io has its own CNAME records to be integrated into the hosting site.
Example:
In this example, we will connect the domain www.sio-test.com to systeme.io.
You will then need to log in to your systeme.io account, click on your profile picture, then on the "Custom Domains" section, and add a domain.
INSTRUCTIONS:
First CNAME:
- Go to "DNS zone" of your domain name, then click on "Add a record".
- Select the type "CNAME" from the different types available.
- Add "www" in the "Source" field, then add "d4u2puqgdn07m.cloudfront.net." in the "Target" field. Finally, click on "Save" to save the addition of your first CNAME.
Note: if a CNAME record with the name "www" exists, edit the target to "d4u2puqgdn07m.cloudfront.net."

- Go to "DNS records" of your domain name.
- Click on "Add a record" >> Select the type "CNAME" >> add in the "Source" field everything that is before the domain name, which in our example is "_93ab7c5624fec19e93d52753aa4f3b54" >> then add "_ff9eef82c4a4a845d06597452f57f392.zfyfvmchrl.acm-validations.aws." in the "Target" field. Finally, click on "Save" to save the addition of your second CNAME.

Note 2: It can sometimes take 24 to 48 hours for DNS records to fully propagate.
Note 3: It sometimes happens that your host cannot register your CNAME due to a conflict with other DNS records. This usually occurs when adding the first CNAME.
At that point, you need to contact your host to understand the importance of these DNS and to give you the green light for their removal.
