How to manage your funnels with the systeme.io MCP server
In this article, you will learn how to manage your systeme.io funnels using natural language through our native MCP server. By connecting an AI tool like ChatGPT or Claude, you can easily create and retrieve funnels and opt-in funnel steps seamlessly without leaving your chat window.
What you will need:
- A systeme.io account
- An MCP key generated from your systeme.io account (How to use the systeme.io MCP server (Model Context Protocol))
- An AI tool connected to your systeme.io account using MCP keys:
1. Managing funnels
The MCP server allows you to perform basic actions on your funnels directly from the chat. Just provide the name of the funnel and specify the action you want to perform.
a. Create a funnel: You can ask the AI to generate a brand new funnel in your account.
Example: Create a new funnel named "Summer campaign".
b. List and retrieve funnels: You can use the AI to browse through your existing funnels or search for a specific one without having to navigate through your dashboard manually.
Example: List my 3 recent funnels.
Or find the funnel named "Marketing strategies".
2. Managing opt-in funnel steps
Once you have a funnel created, you can instruct the AI to manage the steps inside of it. Note that at this time, only opt-in funnel steps are supported.
a. Create an opt-in funnel step: Tell the AI to add a new opt-in step to an existing funnel. You will need to provide the name of the step and the funnel you want to add it to.
Example: Create an opt-in funnel step named "Summer leads" for the "Summer Campaign" funnel.
Note: The more details you include in your prompt, the better the generated page will match your desired design and content.
b. List and retrieve opt-in funnel steps: You can ask the AI to retrieve and display a list of all the opt-in steps within a specific funnel.
Example: List all opt-in funnel steps for the "Summer campaign" funnel.
Notes:
- Limitations: The current release only supports creating and retrieving funnels and opt-in funnel steps. Modifying (editing) or deleting funnels and funnel steps is not supported at this time.
- Supported steps: Currently, only "opt-in" type funnel steps can be managed via the MCP server.
- The AI will require confirmation prompts depending on the platform you use (for example, ChatGPT may ask for permission to run the action before creating a funnel).
