How to manage your price plans and coupons with the systeme.io MCP server
In this article, you will learn how to manage your price plans and coupons using natural language through our native MCP server. By connecting an AI tool like ChatGPT or Claude, you can easily create, update, and organize your pricing options seamlessly without leaving your chat window.
What you will need:
- A systeme.io account
- An MCP key generated from your systeme.io account (How to use the systeme.io MCP server (Model Context Protocol))
- An AI tool connected to your systeme.io account using MCP keys:
1. Managing price plans
The MCP server allows you to perform basic actions on your price plans directly from the chat. Just provide the required details (such as name, price, and currency) and specify the action you want to perform.
a. Create a price plan: You can ask the AI to generate a new price plan for your offers.
Example: Create a monthly subscription price plan named "Marketing automation pro" for $49 per month, using USD as the currency.
b. Edit a price plan: If you need to change a price plan's details, you can instruct the AI to update its settings.
Example: Update the price plan "Marketing automation pro" and change the name to "Marketing automation premium".
c. List and retrieve price plans: You can use the AI to browse through your existing price plans or search for a specific one without navigating your dashboard manually.
Example: List all my price plans.
Or find the price plan named "eBook".
d. Delete a price plan: Instruct the AI to completely remove a price plan from your systeme.io account.
Example: Delete the price plan named "Marketing Automation Premium".
2. Managing coupons
Coupons are a great way to offer discounts, and you can manage them completely through the AI chat.
a. Create a coupon: Tell the AI to create a new coupon by providing the code, discount amount, currency, and expiration date.
Example: Create a coupon with these attributes: coupon code FIRSTORDER20, internal name New customer acquisition campaign, discount 20%, currency USD, and expiration date November 21, 2026.
b. Edit a coupon: You can easily ask the AI to change an existing coupon's attributes.
Example: Update the coupon "FIRSTORDER20" and change the expiration date to November 30, 2026.
Note: Once a coupon is created, its discount amount or percentage cannot be changed.
c. List and retrieve coupons: You can ask the AI to retrieve and display a list of all your currently existing coupons.
Example: List my recent coupons.
Or find the coupon with the name "Black Friday".
d. Delete a coupon: You can tell the AI to remove a coupon that you no longer need.
Example: Delete the coupon with the code "FIRSTORDER20".
Notes:
- Digital products: Price plans created via MCP are not yet connected to Digital products. This capability will be added in a future update.
- Payment pages: Support for adding price plans and coupons to payment pages through the MCP server is currently in development.
- The AI will require confirmation prompts depending on the platform you use (for example, ChatGPT may ask for permission to run the action before creating or deleting an item).
