How to connect your GoDaddy domain to systeme.io | systeme.io Help Center

In this guide, you will learn how to add DNS records in GoDaddy to connect your root domain. This allows you to use your custom domain (e.g., www.domain.com) for your sales funnels and blogs, establishing a professional brand presence.

What you will need:

A systeme.io account
A domain name purchased from GoDaddy

Important: Please follow the first step of this article before completing this one.

After adding the root domain in systeme.io, you must access the DNS settings in your GoDaddy account.

Note: Each domain added to systeme.io has its own CNAME records to integrate into the hosting site.

Example:

In this example, we will connect the domain www.sio-team.live with systeme.io

First, hover over your profile picture, click Settings, then go to Custom Domains and add your custom domain.

First CNAME:

Go to DNS
Click the DNS Records tab for your domain.
Click Add New Record.
Select CNAME from the Type menu.
Enter www in the Name field.
Enter d3bt5p0vcddwkd.cloudfront.net in the Value field.
Click Save.

Note: If a CNAME record with the name www already exists, edit its value to d3bt5p0vcddwkd.cloudfront.net.

Second CNAME:

Follow the same process described above to add a new CNAME record.
In the Name field, paste the text string that appears before your domain name (e.g.,_cf609c2bb606ce8f507b0a0e99595a1c).
In the Value field, add _835816fa9babb4f145284a3d8a3b63d6.zfyfvmchrl.acm-validations.aws.
Click Save to apply changes.

Once the two CNAMEs are correctly added to your host, you can check their status using the following tool: https://dnschecker.org

Note: To check your records, you must enter the full CNAME name (including your domain name) into the search bar.

You should see the same value you added next to a green checkmark, as displayed in the example below. If not, the records have not been added correctly, and you need to review your DNS zone:

Add a redirect rule:

Go to the DNS section of your domain name.
Click Forwarding, then Add Forwarding for a domain.

Select https://
Enter your full domain (e.g., www.sio-team.live) in the Destination URL field.
Select Permanent (301)
Finally, click Save to apply changes.

Notes:
It can take up to 24–48 hours for DNS records to propagate completely.
Sometimes, your host may not be able to register a CNAME record due to a conflict with other existing DNS records. This usually happens when adding the first CNAME. If this occurs, contact your host support to determine if those existing records are necessary or if they can be safely deleted.
