OVH DNS settings (root domain)

In this article, you will learn how to add DNS settings to OVH to connect your main domain to your account. 

NOTE: Going through this will ensure you can add your full website ( to to use as a custom domain in your funnels and blogs, which can be helpful to your branding.

If you have a domain registered in OVH and want to use that domain exclusively in, this article will show you how.

Note: Please follow the first step of this article before completing this one.

After adding the root domain to you must see the DNS settings.


We will use as an example in this article to show you the steps you need to take with your own domain.


First CNAME:

  • Login to your OVH account.
  • Select the DNS settings for your domain.
  • If a CNAME with the name www exists, edit the target at
  • If this is not the case, click on "Add an entry".
  • Select "CNAME".
  • Enter "www" in the Host field.
  • Type in the target field.

Second CNAME:

  • Click on "Add" at the bottom right.
  • Select "CNAME".
  • Enter _9c8423f82e4aba6e651f58ca870e353e.www in the Host field.
  • Enter in the Target field.

Create a redirection

  • Click on "Redirection", then on "Add Redirection"
  • Leave the field empty to redirect the domain and click "Next".
  • Choose "To a web address" and click "Next"
  • Choose "With visible redirection"
  • Select Permanent (301) and put https://blogueurvip in the Web Address field.
