How to configure a button

In this article, you will learn how to configure a button.

You will need:

Adding a button to the page

In the page editor, drag the "Button" element from the panel on the left and drop it onto the page (number 1 in the image).

Click on the "Settings" icon to display the button settings in the panel on the left (number 2 in the image).

When configuring a button, you must select which action to take when the button is clicked:

  • Submit form
  • Show popup
  • Open URL
  • Next step URL
  • Download file

Button actions

1) Submit form

When a lead submits their details using the form, this action will save them as a contact and redirect them to the next page of the sales funnel.

Note: Although you can have multiple "Submit form" buttons on your page, each must have the same fields as the others. These buttons will respond to the same automation rules.

2) Show popup
The purpose of this action is to open a popup created on the same editor page.
Note: To select this action, you will need to have created a popup on your page, as described in the following article: How to create a popup on a page.

3) Open URL
The purpose of this action is to redirect to a specific page by inserting its URL. When choosing this action, you can specify whether this page should open in the same window or a new one.

4) Next step URL
The purpose of this action is to redirect directly to the next step in the sales funnel when the customer clicks on the button.

5) Download file
This action will allow the user to download a file when the button is clicked.
To add the file to download, click on the " upload" icon.
