In this article, you will learn how to configure a button.
You will need:
- A systeme.io account
- A page in edit mode
Adding a button to the page
Drag and drop the Button element (1) from the panel on the left onto the page.
Click on the Settings icon (2) to display the button settings in the panel on the left.
When configuring a button, you must select which action to take when the button is clicked (3).
- Submit form
- Show popup
- Open URL
- Next step URL
- Download file
Button actions
1) Submit form
When a lead submits their details using the form, this action will save them as a contact and redirect them to the next step in your funnel.
Note: You can add multiple Submit form buttons to your page, but each one must contain the same fields and will trigger the same automation rules.
2) Show popup
This action opens a popup created within the page editor.
Note: You must create a popup on your page before you can select this action, as described in the following article: How to create a popup on a page.
3) Open URL
This action redirects to a specific page by inserting its URL. You can choose to open the link in the same tab or in a new one.
4) Next step URL
This action takes the user to the next step in your funnel.
5) Download file
This action allows the user to download a file. To select a file, click the Upload icon.
