How to receive an email notification after a new subscription on your page
On this page, you will learn how to send an automatic email when a lead subscribes or a customer makes a purchase.
What you'll need :
- a systeme.io account
- a squeeze page or an order form
1. Add automation to a squeeze page after a lead subscription:
In the squeeze page configuration, click on the "Automation Rules" tab (number 1 in the image) and then on "Add Rule" (number 2 in the image).
In the popup window that appears, choose "Funnel step form subscribed" to trigger the email notification rule after a lead has registered.
By clicking on the trigger shown above, new buttons will appear to allow you to add the email notification you want to receive after a lead has registered. These buttons include "Add action", "Save rule" and a "Back" button to return to the main automation rules page.
Add an email action
On the popup that appears, select "Send email to a specific email address" (number 4 in the image).
Create a new email
Click on the " + " icon to create an email (number 5 in the image).
In the email editor, provide the body of the email for the notification you will receive, then configure a recipient address with one of your email addresses (number 6 in the image).
To include information about the contact who subscribed, you can use predefined variables as part of the email text (number 7 in the image).
Once you've completed the email, click on "Save" (number 8 in the image).
Note: To modify your email, click on the pencil icon.
Saving the rule
Finally, save the rule by clicking on "Save rule" (number 9 in the image).
2. Add automation on a payment page after customer purchase:
In the order form step configuration, click on the "Automation Rules" tab (number 10 in the image) and then on "Add Rule" (number 11 in the image).
On the "Add trigger" popup that appears, choose "New sale" to configure the rule for sending notification emails after a customer makes a purchase.
To configure the rules to automatically receive a notification after a customer makes a purchase, simply follow the same steps described in the first part of the article.
