My domain name is not approved
In this article, you will learn how to identify why your domain name has not been approved by systeme.io and how to address this issue.
To get started, you will need the following:
- a systeme.io account
- a domain name added to your systeme.io account
Checking the status of your domain
If the domain you have added to systeme.io has not been approved yet, you will need to verify whether the CNAME records have been correctly added and working as expected.
- Click on DNS Checker.
- Check the propagation of the two CNAMEs by entering the host names for the CNAME records generated by our system into the empty field.
- Select the "CNAME" option.
- Click on "Search".
Locating your host names
The host names to enter in the second field can be found in your domain's settings. The required information can be found in a pop-up within those settings.
Expected DNS Checker results
For both records, the result should resemble the image below, with the target values matching those generated by our system.
Note: DNS records may take 24 to 48 hours to fully propagate.
Provided that your domain name is functional and properly configured, it will be approved in systeme.io within 24 hours.
If not, make sure that you have followed the steps outlined in this article (or this article for a subdomain).
If you have created the CNAME record with the "WWW" prefix, remember to enter your domain name in systeme.io with the "WWW" prefix as well (i.e. www.domain-name.com).
If your configuration is "domain-name.com", be aware that this is incorrect, and your domain name will not be approved.
