How to connect your Infomaniak domain to systeme.io
In this guide, you will learn how to add DNS records in Infomaniak to connect your root domain. This allows you to use your custom domain (e.g., www.domain.com) for your sales funnels and blogs, establishing a professional brand presence.
What you will need:
- A systeme.io account
- A domain name purchased from Infomaniak
Important: Please follow the first step of this article before proceeding with this guide.
After adding the root domain in systeme.io, you must access the DNS settings in your Infomaniak account.
Note: Each domain added to systeme.io has unique CNAME records that must be added to your host's DNS settings.
Example:
In this example, we will connect the domain www.sio-test.com to systeme.io.
First, hover over your profile picture, click Settings, then go to Custom Domains and add your custom domain.

First CNAME:
- Go to the DNS zone for your domain name, then click on Add a record.

- Select the CNAME type.

- Enter www in the Source field, then enter d4u2puqgdn07m.cloudfront.net. in the Target field.
- Finally, click Save to save the record.

Note: if a CNAME record with the name www exists, edit the target to d4u2puqgdn07m.cloudfront.net.
Second CNAME:
- Go to the DNS records for your domain.
- Click Add a record and select CNAME as the type.
- In the Source field, enter the text that appears before your domain name (in our example,_93ab7c5624fec19e93d52753aa4f3b54).
- Then, enter _ff9eef82c4a4a845d06597452f57f392.zfyfvmchrl.acm-validations.aws. in the Target field.
- Finally, click on Save to save the record.

Once the two CNAMEs are correctly added to your host, you can check their status using the following tool: https://dnschecker.org

CNAME verification 02:

Add a forwarding rule:
- Go to the DNS section for your domain name, and click Web Redirections, then Add a redirection for your domain.

- Select https://
- Enter www.domain-name.com in the Destination URL field. In our example, we entered www.sio-test.com.
- Select Permanent (301).
- Finally, click Confirm to save.

Notes:
- It can take up to 24–48 hours for DNS records to propagate completely.
- Sometimes, your host may not be able to register a CNAME record due to a conflict with other existing DNS records. This usually happens when adding the first CNAME. If this occurs, contact your host support to determine if those existing records are necessary or if they can be safely deleted.
