How to connect your Hostinger subdomain to systeme.io

On this page, you will learn how to add DNS records to Hostinger to connect your subdomain. You will be able to add your subdomain (subdomain.domain.com) to systeme.io to use it as a custom subdomain in your sales funnels and blogs, which helps maintain a professional brand.

What you will need:

  • A systeme.io account
  • A domain name purchased from Hostinger

Important: Please follow the first step of this article before following the instructions on this page.

After adding the subdomain in systeme.io, access the DNS settings in your Hostinger account.

Note: Each subdomain added to systeme.io provides unique CNAME records that must be added to your hosting provider (Hostinger).

Example:

In this example, we will connect the subdomain example.team-sio.com to systeme.io

You will then need to log in to your systeme.io account and click on your profile picture, then go to Custom Domains and add your subdomain.

First CNAME:

  • Go to the DNS / Nameservers tab for your domain.
  • In the DNS Records section, select CNAME as the Type. Enter example in the Name field, and enter d2seb4d9411ck5.cloudfront.net. in the Target field.
  • Finally, click on the button Add record to save.

Note: If a CNAME record with the name "example" already exists, edit its value to "d2seb4d9411ck5.cloudfront.net."

Second CNAME:

  • First, repeat the process described above to add a new CNAME record.
  • In the Name field, paste the string before your domain name. In this example, it is: _bf01f85211869d78ce3077667d183fda.example >> then in the Value field, add _43c5801f9d4fc969353fdfdf59813a6c.xlfgrmvvlj.acm-validations.aws.
  • Finally, click on the Add record button to save.

Once the two CNAME records are properly added to your host, you can check their status using the following tool:
You should see the same value you added next to a green checkmark, as shown in the example below. If not, double-check your DNS settings to ensure the records were entered correctly

Notes:

  • It can take up to 2448 hours for DNS records to propagate completely.
  • Sometimes, your host may not be able to register a CNAME record due to a conflict with other existing DNS records. This usually happens when adding the first CNAME. In this case, contact Hostinger support to confirm if those existing records are necessary or if they can be safely removed."
