How to set up a free trial

In this article, you will learn how to set up a free trial for multi-payment or subscription plans.

To get started, you will need the following:

When creating a subscription or multi-payment price plan, you can offer a free trial period to your customers before they make their first payment. To learn more about how to create and set up a price plan, click here.

Setting up a free trial for a subscription:

When configuring your price plan options, select Subscription as the Price plan type. Specify the trial period duration in terms of days, weeks, months, or years. Enter the desired length of the free trial. Add the price plan to your offer and save.

Note: The Trial period is the length of time customers have free access before being charged.

Setting up a free trial for multi-payment:
The process for configuring a price plan with the payment type Payment plan is similar to setting up a free trial for a subscription. The difference is that you must also specify the Number of payments the customer is required to make.
Example:  A 7-week trial period with 5 scheduled payments.

Important: Once you have finished configuring the price plan, don't forget to save it by clicking on the Save button below the price plan.
