How to offer free calendar bookings

In this article, you'll learn how to let clients book a free event or consultation with you by adding a calendar directly to your funnel page.

What you will need:

1. Open the page editor

Go to your funnel and click Edit page (1) to open the editor for the specific page where you want to add your booking calendar.

2. Add the calendar element

In the left panel of the editor, scroll down to the Calendar (2) element. Drag and drop it directly onto your page.

3. Configure the calendar settings

Click the calendar element you just placed on your page. This will open its settings menu on the left side of the screen.

Under the Event dropdown (3), you will see a list of all the events you have created. Click here to learn how to create an event.

Select the specific event you want to display for booking.

Note: If you have only created one event in your account, it will automatically be selected by default.

4. The three-step booking process

Once added, the calendar element automatically generates a seamless 3-step experience for your

a. Calendar (1)

Your visitors will be able to see your available dates and select a time slot that works for them.

You can customize the settings for each step directly within the left-hand panel:

  • Headline (2): Main title of the booking step.
  • Sub-headline (3): Secondary instructional text.
  • The "Next Step" button text (4): Text label for the "Next Step" button.
  • Time format (5): Clock display style (12hr/24hr).

b. Form (1)

After your invitees select a time, they will be prompted to enter their contact details (like name and email) to finalize their booking.

You can customize the following settings within the left-hand panel:

  • Headline (2): Main title of the booking step.
  • Sub-headline (3): Secondary instructional text.
  • Form submit button text (4): Text label for the "submit" button.

Additionally, you can add custom questions for visitors to answer:

Click the blue box (5) and check the Mandatory (6) box if you want to make it required.

Notes:

  • You can add other form fields beyond those already present.
  • The font properties (type, size) within the calendar are linked to your page's default typography settings.

c. Thank You (1)

Once they submit the form, they'll automatically see a confirmation screen displaying their meeting details.

You can customize the following settings within the left-hand panel:

  • Sub-headline (2): Secondary instructional text.
  • Redirect actions (3): You can choose to redirect visitors after booking to:
    • The next step in your funnel
    • A custom URL
    • No redirection (they simply stay on the confirmation screen)

Once you're happy with your calendar setup, don't forget to click the Save button in the top right corner of the editor before exiting the page.

5. Notification emails:

Both the host and the invitees will receive three notification emails for every booking:

  1. Booking confirmation: Sent to both parties immediately to indicate that the booking was successful.
  2. 24-Hour reminder: Sent to both parties 24 hours before the event begins.
  3. 1-Hour reminder: Sent to both parties one hour before the event begins.
