How to sell an ebook with a VAT rate of 5.5%

In this article, you’ll learn how to create and sell an ebook with a 5.5% VAT rate on systeme.io.

Step 1: Create the physical product

To be able to sell an ebook with a VAT rate of 5.5%, go to the Physical products (1) under the Assets section. Then click on Create (2).

When creating your physical product, you must indicate a VAT rate of 5.5% before saving (3).

Step 2: Sell the product

To sell a product, you need a sales funnel with a payment page. Learn how to create a sales funnel here and a payment page here.

Once you've created your funnel and your payment page, click on your Order form page (4), where you will add the product you've created.

To do this, scroll down and select Physical product (5) from the two offer types available on your order form.

Choose the title of your physical product (5), then click on the button Save (6).

On the same page, click on Edit page (7) to open the page editor.

In the editor, you can organize the elements however you like, but more importantly, we are going to add your product to the payment page.

Choose the location where you want to put your product. Then, drag the Physical product element from the Payment section on the left sidebar, and drop it where you want the product to appear.

After adding the product, all of its information will be displayed in the Product section.

Now, let's add the pricing. Once again, drag and drop the Offer price element, also found in the Payment section.

Your product is successfully placed and configured!

Step 3: Add the ebook as an email attachment

On your payment page, in the Automations section, create an automation rule with the trigger New sale and the action Send email. This action will be triggered when someone buys the offer.

Now, click "+" to create the email (8).

Add your ebook as an attachment (9).

Finally, click on Save rule (10).

Now, your customers will automatically receive the ebook via email after purchase.
