How to sell an ebook with a VAT rate of 5.5%
On this page, we will see the steps to follow to create and sell an e-book with a VAT rate of 5.5% on systeme.io.
Step 1: create the physical product
To be able to sell an ebook with a VAT rate of 5.5%, go to the "Physical products" section in "Products" (number 1 in the image).
When creating your physical product, you must indicate a VAT rate of 5.5% before saving (number 2 in the image).

Step 2: sell the product
To sell a product, you need to create a sales funnel and a payment page. To learn how to create a sales funnel, click here. To learn how to create a payment page, click here.
Once you've created your funnel and your payment page, click on your order form page (number 3 in the image), where you will add the product you've created. To do this, choose "Physical product" between the two different types of offer available on your order form (number 4 in the image).
Choose the title of your physical product (number 5 in the image), then click on the button "Save" (number 6 in the image).
On the same page, click on "Edit page" to open the page editor (number 7 in the image).
In the editor, you can organize the elements as you wish, but more importantly, we are going to add your product to the payment page.
Choose the location where you want to put your product. Then, drag the "Product" element on the left side of the editor in the "Payment" section, and drop it where you want the product to appear.
After adding the product, all of its information will be displayed in the "Product" section.
Now, let's add the pricing. Once again, drag and drop the "Offer price" element, also found in the "Payment" section.
Your product is successfully placed and configured!
IMPORTANT: Whenever you finish editing a page or make any other changes, click the "Save changes" button located in the top right corner of the page (there is no auto-saving feature in the page editor).
Step 3: add the ebook as an email attachment
On your payment page, create an automation rule with the trigger "New Sale" and the action "Send Email" (number 8 in the image) - this action will be triggered when someone buys the offer. Now, click "+" to create the email (number 9 in the image).
Add your ebook as an attachment (number 10 in the image).
Note: the limit of the file size to be added as an attachment is 5 MB.
Finally, click on "Save rule" (number 11 in the image).
Now, every customer who makes a purchase through your payment page will receive the ebook in the email they will receive.
