How to trigger automation rules when a customer buys your order bump

In this article, you will learn how to trigger automation rules when a customer buys an order bump
What you will need :

To automate the triggering of several automation rules after a customer purchases your order bump on the payment page, you need to proceed in 3 essential steps:

1. Create a specific tag (How to create a tag). Example: Order bump (number 1 in the image).

2. Go to your order bump on the payment page, then click on “Edit digital product”.

Add the "Order-bump" tag you created in the "Resources" section of the order bump on the payment page (number 2 in the image).

Remember, you must add a price plan to your offer to be able to sell it. For more details, read this article: How to create and configure a price plan.

3. Create an automation rule by going to the automation section on the menu, then to "Rules" (number 3 in the image).

Select "Tag added" as the trigger (number 4 in the image).

Then, select one of the following actions you want to automate after a customer buys your order bump:

Example: Adding a customer to a campaign when the order-bump tag has been added (number 5 in the image).

Save the automation rule by clicking on "Save rule" (number 6 in the image).
