How to trigger automation rules when a customer buys your order bump
In this article, you will learn how to trigger automation rules when a customer buys an order bump.
What you will need:
- A systeme.io account
- A payment page (How to create a payment page)
- An order bump (How to add an order bump on the payment page)
To trigger automation rules after a customer purchases your order bump, follow these 3 steps:
- Create a specific tag (How to create a tag). Example: Order bump (1).
- Navigate to your payment page settings. Under the Order Bump section, click the pencil icon to Edit digital product.
In the Resources section, add the Order bump tag you just created (2).
Note: You must add a price plan to your offer before it can be sold.. For more details, read this article: How to create and configure a price plan.
- Navigate to Automations > Rules (3) in the main menu. Click Create (4).
Select Tag added (5) as the trigger.
Next, select the action you want to trigger:
Example: Subscribe to a campaign when the order bump tag is added (6).
Click Save rule (7) to confirm.
