What are the different methods for giving access to a course?

In this article, we’ll explore different methods for granting course access to your students.

What you'll need:
There are 4 different methods for giving contacts access to a course:
1) Automatically add a student to a course after a purchase:
To grant course access automatically after a purchase, you must configure the settings in the Order form resources section of your sales funnel (1).

2) Automatically add a student to a course after registration using an opt-in page:
To provide access to a course automatically after a contact registers on your opt-in page, follow these steps:

a. Select Submit form as the form button's action, and then redirect subscribers to the page of your choice (2).

b. Add an automation rule with a Funnel step form subscribed trigger and Enroll in course action (3).

3) Manually add a student to a course:

4) Manually adding multiple students to a course:
To add multiple contacts to a course, follow these 3 steps:
  1. Create a new tag (click here for a detailed tutorial).
  2. Create a new automation rule with a Tag added trigger and select the newly created tag.
  3. In the same automation rule, choose the Enroll in a course action and select the relevant course.
  4. Save the automation rule.
  5. Assign the newly created tag to your contacts (click here for a detailed tutorial).
With this method, the automation rule triggers immediately when the tag is assigned, automatically enrolling the contact in the course.
Note: With any of these methods, students will receive an automatic email to log in to their account and access the content.
